The location is the attraction. The restaurant is beautiful, no one can argue that , the problem was the food. It is pricey and not really worth it. Appetizers were hit or miss.tuna tartare was outstanding, the calamri okay, and the mussels were cold and the sauce was not much else than emulsified butter without much flavor. The same problem was with an entree , promised angel hair pasta with halibut . Fish perfectly cooked, but served with fettuccine NOT angel hair, and way too much butter in the promised lemon white wine sauce, that is also not to mention the missing capers which would have offset the heavy hand of butter. Would return, but only certain menu items and for special occasions , but you cannot beat the location or the chocolate cake that was gratis for a birthday celebration at the table. That was a nice touch, and quite good.

First time there for brunch and it was great I will definitely be returning. The weather wasn't great so the seating was all indoors and the view was still amazing. At first we were told there was a 45 minute wait, however , Corey, the host was so helpful and sat us within 20 minutes. They were extremely accommodating! Our server was Lacie and she was so sweet and attentive. I had the tuna tartar, which was fresh and delicious. My aunt ordered the calamari also delicious and fresh. My main dish was a the turkey wrap. My favorite part of this dish was the aioli sauce. I will be retuning here for brunch when the weather is sunny and I definitely recommend the tuna tartar!

Excellent service and good food. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the king crab as our app. The tuna seared rare was great. Best part is the lemon tart dessert at the end.

Great views, really fresh & good food, excellent service. Everything I've tried has been a favorite. Hope to return soon.

My hubs and I took off for a private lunch and ended up at Latitudes. The ambiance we relaxing and just what we were looking for. We sat at the bar and overlooked the wavy, windy looking ocean and enjoyed a great lunch. We both had fish tacos and they were super fresh and a great hint of blackened spice. The bar tender was super busy yet attentive and friendly. We'll be back again - great spot!

This was really good dinner place! Very delicious food. We enjoyed a lot. Not leaving 5 stars because the greeting was not ideal. The host was not inviting and did not show us to the lounge area as we are clearly did not know where it was exactly. Just a little touch of waking us to the lounge area would have been nice.

Latitudes is more like longitudes! Turn back around and walk out. We had a reservation but the hostess wouldn't seat us because she said they were too busy even though there was tables open. Finally we were seated. however, based on how long it was taking I followed my intuition and got the hell out of there. From the first drink at the bar to the valet outside, no one was happy working there. Latitudes is more like Longitudes! Waiting forever and nothing but bad attitudes!

First of all, the location inside of a Holiday Inn may deter some, but this restaurant definitely has nothing to do with the stereotypical Holiday Inn. The restaurant its self is as close to that water as you can possibly be, however, the atmosphere is less than appealing. The food however, is a cut above. The servings are large, and the service good - though not amazing. We were charged for 4 soft drinks when we only had 2 with a refill, although we were not asked if we would like one. They took it off the bill as soon as we mentioned it however. Overall, this restaurant has a very nice view, and good food, but not the place to go if you want the full nice restaurant appearance.

The restaurant is beautiful with amazing views. The wine and drink list is good but the food was under spiced. I ordered the grouper and the fish was ok but there wasn't a lot of taste. Same goes for the veggies. We also ordered appetizers. These were better than the entrees. I would suggest coming here for drinks and an appetizer.

The lobster salad was huge, fresh, delicious and healthy. Right on the ocean which is priceless!

Rare find - Ocean front seating, suburb wait staff and outstanding food. Happy hour drink prices are the lowest in the area. Calamari perfect, compressed watermelon best salad a refreshing treat as was the tuna tartar.. Fish prepared properly $= parking a better choice than Atlantic Ave traffic or Lake Worth finding a spot

Great new restaurant in DELRAY SANDS HOTEL. Eat alfresco seaside or indoors in a/c. Comfort . Beautiful done room with blue tones and big windows. Nice place for lunch or dinner. Reservation for dinner on weekends .

I was here for a rather sad occasion, a memorial service for a friend's father. I never venture into Highland Beach and had no idea what to expect. Latitudes is located inside the newly remodeled Sands Hotel, formerly a Holiday Inn, but unless someone told me that there was no way I would have ever thought a Holiday Inn was ever in this location because the place was absolutely stunning. Oceanfront, modern, elegant, new, beautiful. Service was top notch, from the time I pulled in I was offered valet or self parking, I opted to park myself. Once I headed into the restaurant I asked the valets which way to find my party, they were all aware of the memorial service and guided me to the correct direction inside the restaurant, once inside the restaurant the hostesses were also aware of the memorial service and guided me to the private room. The room had several large round tables, a full bar, and a buffet station. Also it was ocean front with wall to wall windows overlooking the beach, a sliding door and a oceanfront patio with more tables and chairs. What really struck me was the quality of service by all of the staff. The bartenders Roberto and Adriana were superb, the service staff kept on going around clearing the tables and offering drinks and the manager Cody Cormier went above and beyond. My friend had created a Powerpoint to show at the memorial, the venue provided the projector and screen however they don't provide audio equipment. There were issues with the connection, issues with the presentation, we didn't have a speaker, it was a mess, but Cody Cormier the manager scrambled and made sure everything was taken care of, he got us a flash drive and a speaker and made sure everything was working well, Cody was hands on and personally took care of everything. Due to all the technical issues the service was running very late and apparently they only booked the room till 8pm, however Cody told us to take as long as we needed because there wasn't another party after us. Cody Cormier - Thank you so much for making this sad day for my friend a little easier. There is a Tiki bar by the pool and the ambiance is just amazing. I will definitely be returning, I want to try the regular menu and brunch.

We saw this new Ocean front restaurant in Delray on Yelp so figured 'oh yeah'! There is a nice outdoor bar with a fire pit and couch like seating. We opted to sit at a umbrella covered dining table facing the ocean. We ordered cocktails which took a long time to arrive and were only ok. Lots of ice made them a non event pretty quickly. We then ordered calamari, oysters and a sandwich. Everything was very good, but the calamari stood out. The restaurant is new so the one noticeable point was the slowness of the service and arrival of the food and drinks. The waitress seemed pretty attentive so I would guess the kitchen and the bar didn't completely have it together. I was disappointed that there was not easy access to the pool or beach area. I wouldn't have minded a stroll on the beach or a drink by the pool but it was pretty well fenced off.

OMG!! The food here is amazing!! The rating is definitely not for the food because everything is excellent here. Aimee was our server and she was attentive, friendly and upbeat! You have got to try the Maine lobster with shrimp scampi!! The lobster melts in your mouth! My husband loved the burger with the Gruyere cheese and the homemade chips. We also had two mojitos and a key lime pie. The key lime pie was a little sweet but it was still good. The couple next to us had the tuna and said that it was cooked to perfection!! We will definitely be back again and again!! This would be a great place to celebrate an anniversary! See previous review regarding the lobster bisque and the crab cake. The Ocean Reef salad was also divine!!

I have been at the holiday in at highland beach many times to eat. This was my first time going since the hotel changed names and was redone. What a difference. The property is gorgeous now. Latitudes was very good. Great service and beautiful scenic ocean views. The only thing I did not appreciate was getting hit up for parking after just having paid for an expensive meal. A little insulting to be asked to pay for parking on the way out the door, but the food and atmosphere made up for it.

This is an attractive spot. Beautiful location (right by the beach), beautiful décor, and beautiful people. Sunday brunch is very nice. It's somewhat pricey ($40), but includes bottomless mimosa. Come to think of it, owing to the mimosa I might have been a little light headed, and maybe that's why the people looked so beautiful.

Excellent service , very good food, elegant environment, stunning views. Loved the place and definitely will be back. Will recommend it to all my friends.

OMG this place is beyond amazing The outdated holiday inn has been transformed into the most mega gorgeous hip restaurant and hotel ever We used to frequent the holiday inn constantly when w lived across the intracoastal. The food was mostly meh Now the view the food and environment are second to none We went for lunch I had a fabulous salad with beets citrus goat cheese and the best wild king salmon I've had in forever My husband had the lobster roll and it was equally amazing although it could have been alittle larger What a place to go!! Best food greatest view and atmosphere to die for!! Valet parking now Place is not cheap but worth it
(5)Karen L.
I refuse to dine at this establishment based on their dum parking and valet rules. I have always dined at the former restaurant but since they are trying to make this hotel property into a "Ritz Carlton" I will no longer frequent. I have cancelled my New Year's Eve reservation also. In order to accommodate individuals choosing not to valet they should at least allow a designated "self parking" area. Even the Four Seasons in Palm Beach allows that! Ridiculous and they have to be getting complaints.

Very good food. The mahi tacos were yummy- they only give you two, but it comes with fries and it was filling. Other people had the mahi sandwich, some salads and the Blt wrap. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service is a bit slow, but that was okay since we were taking our time and enjoying the view.
(4)Lisa M.
I love the new look of this place as well as all the food i have eaten there. The lobster roll is the best ihave ever had. I have had the lobster & shrimp appitizer. The burgers are good & so are the fish & chips. My friends love the salmon salad. Im working my way down the menu!
(5)Heather W.
Amazing view, right on the ocean. The food was really good. The best lobster roll I have had in the area. Tons of fresh lobster, almost no squishy claw meat- you know the really thin gross part at the end of the claw. And very little mayo- perfect! We also had these apps: vegetable soup, tuna tartare, crab cake, & chicken wings. In addition to the lobster roll we had spicy mahi tacos & the salmon salad. Everything was fresh & delicious. We sat inside to watch basketball, they have a nice big screen. There's plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. The service was slow but it wasn't a big deal. We will definitely be back & can't wait to try their brunch.

LATTITUDES, on the beach, in the beautiful new Delray Sands Hotel, is a very special venue for dining., Ask for an upfront table facing the beach. The food is exceptional, prepared by an obviously talented chef, and the service attentive. Go there for lunch. The hummus platter was delicious and the lobster salad spectacular. (They are apparently not on the new dinner menu- but we are sure Lattitudes will provide same upon request).

Please, please BRING BACK your ONION SOUP!!! There is nothing like it south of New York City.

The one star is for the view and if you want to enjoy a view and only a view then this is the place for you. My server was Michelle and when she asked me and my boyfriend if we were ready to order I asked for a brunch menu and she said all they had was a lunch menu. Obviously they had an alternative menu to that because everyone (and I mean everyone) was ordering breakfast and brunch type items. So after waiting 40 minutes to get our food she, or the cooks, didn't bother to make sure my allergy to tomatoes was taken care of because there was tomatoes on my food. My boyfriend asked her if I could just order a quick breakfast item and she said that all they had was an omelette and some eggs. Well that's funny because the women who joined the table directly across from us she handed them breakfast menus!!!!!!!!!!!! They joined the party 40 mins after we had got there. So while I was delighted with the beautiful scene... I was completely disappointed in this resort. No manager was sent over. No discount was offered. So diners beware!!!

I enjoy coming here simply for the view of the ocean. However the food isn't the best and the decor is really outdated. They should definitely try revamping the place because it has a lot of potential!

I recently moved to Florida and this restaurant is one of my favorites. I love the food as well as the beautiful ocean view. I don't feel it's often you find a restaurant that has both. I love sitting outside and feeling the ocean breeze but I've also sat inside and enjoyed the ocean view from their large picture windows. It is in the Delray Sands Hotel and I understand it has gone through a renovation. It used to be a holiday Inn and I have been told that it was not as nice then. So if you had tried it when I was a holiday Inn and did not enjoy your experience strongly suggest you give it another try

We stayed at the attached hotel last year (when it was a Holiday Inn) and ate at Lattitudes. It was wonderful. Kids ate free, food was great, prices were reasonable. Came back this year to newly renovated Lattitudes. Beautiful renovation. But... Service is way understaffed. Our food took an hour. Portions were small and expensive. Kids no longer eat for free. First experience was lousy. We ate breakfast by the pool over the next few days with better results. My wife and I ate dinner at the outdoor bar last night and enjoyed everything. The beef tenderloin is to die for. Fix the understaffed service and understaffed kitchen and they will be fine.
(3)Joe G.
It just was not good!!! Five lousy meals. Salmon special had no taste. Wild salmon w mashed potatoes was awful. Mahi just tasteless. Shrimp lobster scampi was just swimming in butter. Best ambience. Beautiful renovation. Lousy food

Latitudes is located on the grounds of the Delray Sands Hotel in Highland Beach. It is a great place to eat and the view is magnificent! Love the brunch! I emailed Latitudes Ocean Grill to see if they would donate some gift certificates to be raffled at a local event to raise money for the shelter, and they graciously agreed. They donated 2 "Brunch for Two Gift Certificates". Thanks so much for your generosity Latitudes Ocean Grill! We will certainly keep going back for many years to come! Mayra Stern

Never a good sign when the waitress asks you after 40 minutes of waiting "what did you order?"
(1)Marcia S.
Be forewarned: Only valet parking now & they charge $3 for breakfast & lunch and $4 for dinner! Went for the spectacular brunch - up a buck and seemed a bit sparse. The shrimp, my favorite, while still gigantic, didn't have the same firmness. The desserts still rock! The scallops (in the seafood salad) are now bay scallops not sea scallops. Still have the omelet maker, the pasta station, the carver & all those entrée type offerings. Also, the hotel is now the Delray Sands Resort - no longer the Holiday Inn.

I've been to this place twice for dinner because my parents seem to enjoy the menu. Indeed, it has a wide variety of seafood, sushi, pasta, burgers and other options that would delight a wide cross section of diners. However, as you enter the main dining area, there's a pervasive odor of oil mixed with food. As one of my fellow diners noted, this is most probably due to the fact that the entire restaurant has wall to wall carpeting which holds on to all the stench. The chefs here seem to butter and oil most everything, so if dairy or oil is not something you desire, you just kindly tell them and they adjust it. My grouper was good but somewhat on the dry side, perhaps because I didn't have it buttered and oiled. My mother had the grouper sandwich which she said she really likes, especially at lunch. The service was swift, efficient and friendly. The views as other reviewers have described is lovely. This would not be on my top ten list of restaurants in the area, but it seems to have a devoted following. And if they take out the carpeting, perhaps the stench issue would be resolved and I could change my star to a 4.

Great view. Clean dining area. Try the grilled steak salad at lunch time. You will love it.

Newly renovated, this place is absolutely gorgeous and re menu is inspired. We sat outside and enjoyed a breathtaking view of the ocean while enjoying food that was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt, including the valet out front. Will definitely come back!

I was hoping that finally there was a a good restaurant in Highland Beach. My hopes were let down so much I don't even know how to start. When we arrives the Valet was very nice. We walked in and was greeted by only one person behind a desk that was more concerned about taking orders for the rooms in the hotel than patrons that traveled to eat there. We were taken to a booth that wasn't even big enough for children. Trust me Im not making this up, one of us is 119 lb.. We moved to a table made for 2 and they added a extra chair. This part you wouldn't believe unless you were there. They have parties all the time we were told and tonight was no exception. It was so loud we couldn't even order without yelling. It sounded like we were in a concert instead of a eating establishment. The drinks were fine, appetizer was good But when dinner came a tuna sandwich had more flavor than the $30 Fish we ordered. One of us did order the lobster roll and it was stuffed but what skill was needed for the flavor of a lobster roll. People were screaming in the party that they had in the same room. Food was bland. I hope they resolve there short coming but I will NEVER eat there again. I would recommend the same. There is a lot better places in Boca than this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

The view is the deal here. And a 3.5 score comes closest. Don't look for 5-star dining, but Latitudes comes with a 5-star ocean view and proximity to the water that is unmatched in southern Palm Beach County. Located in the back of a Holiday Inn, this is a great place to have a scenic breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whether you sit inside or out, the scenery and ocean breezes are just the right tonic for anything that ails you. Speaking of tonic, my gin and tonic was a weak start to the evening. If you come for a drink, you may want to hang out and enjoy the sights with a beer, glass of wine or something very simple. Overall, most of the six meals that our group ordered got decent reviews. Fish dishes got the highest marks, although a pasta entree with shrimp and lobster sounded a lot better than it tasted. Everyone, however, should be able to find something promising on the simple but ample menu. It wasn't too hard to score a table outside on a beautiful Sunday evening in May. The location is on a quiet stretch of S. Ocean Blvd. in Highland Beach. On your drive you'll pass all those beautiful mansions that line the roadway. Even if you can't afford one of those castles, you'll still feel like a million bucks enjoying the views at Latitudes Ocean Grill.
(4)Gigi F.
What a hidden gem! I didn't expect much because it is located inside the Holiday Inn. But this is ocean side dining (some outdoor, some indoor) at its best. The service was excellent. The variety on the menu made it hard to decide. Fresh bread basket for every table made me regret giving up carbs for Lent! I enjoyed a wonderful bistro salad with a homemade salad dressing that I used on the rest of my meal as well. I ordered the Cajun grilled Mahi with a side of seasonal veggies and asparagus. The fish was firm and fresh, completely cooked but moist and tender. Everything was freshly prepared, served piping hot, plated beautifully and served expertly. If I lived here, I'd eat here regularly!
(5)Bruce H.
I've eaten here twice and consider the food, service & decor top notch. The lobster roll & fish tacos are outstanding. Salads are great too. Outstanding ocean view, a few steps from the ocean.
